Dying for the next GT5 Dlc already!

Is anyone impatient for the next Dlc already. Its been like 3 months and still no new dlc either no news about the 4th dlc. I know they release dlc every 2 months and they would of already release Dlc 4 by now.

I wouldn't say impatient, I'd say I'm kind of curious about what are they going to do next. Hopefully, if they decide to release a new DLC, it will be a classic car pack. Hopefully...

Just enjoy what you have got at the moment, alot of people moaning about DLC, stop being ungrateful, we have recieved pretty decent stuff for free from PD.

OK...PD did say they will release DLC every 2 months, but unfortunately things don't always go according to plan.

I want to see the stealth and chrome dlcs as it ain't fair that we can't have the stealth and chrome cars without having the pre-order editions, which would have to be bought multiple times if you have more than one account.

Re: Dying for the next GT5 Dlc already!

I too would like to see the next DLC pack as soon as possible and hopefully it again has something for everyone, new and old cars, street and racecars, Standards converted to Premium, perhaps even new track.

If possible, I'd like to see new rims added to GT Auto, more variety in their design. Now they're all modern spoke design alloy wheels which look odd in older cars. Hoping to see some smoother, aerodynamic alloy rims, similar to the '83 Mitsu Lancer Turbo original rims, maybe even some factory original steel rims and hubcaps for each car. If not possible in GT5 DLC, hope to see them in GT6.

The same applies to the body aero parts, now the aftermarket rear wings at GT Auto don't differ much in their design and all of them look like parts from racecars. I'd like to see more moderate parts for streetcars.

Re: Dying for the next GT5 Dlc already!

Didnt we get the last DLC pack 1 month early? In January and not February. So if PD are strictly sticking to the timetable then in theory it should have been released in February 2012 then the next DLC should be somewhen in April. I think some of you guys have to be a tad realistic here. Bathurst wont be seen till GT6  I'd love to see it in for GT5 DLC but I seriously doubt it.

Too many people are quick to criticise when it comes to DLC but do not offer realistic suggestions.

Although its been mentioned too many times before but DLC does take a while to produce and to be honest I am currently happy with the level of DLC that is available.

As per the Chrome/Stealth cars that were part of the Signature pack on release. No they shouldnt be made available as they were part of the pre order bonuses that I and a lot of ther people who bought the signature edition paid a great deal of Money for.

As for seeing F1 cars in GT5, not unless Sony/PD are prepared to pay possibly millions to Bernie Ecclestone. Who holds all the Copyrights for the F1 cars.  The only one he does not hold copyright over is the Ferrari Team, hence  he can use the Ferrari F1 cars in GT5.  The age old question about how does Codemastwers use them is because they are under liscence to use them. bit silly producing a Formula 1 game with F1 cars isnt it!!!

Now what I would like to see implmented as DLC  for cars in GT5 would be premium models of the Sauber Mercedes C9, R8 LMS Race Car (Team PlayStation) '09, Toyota Minolta, Bugatti Veyron and possible new versions of the the BugattiVeyron as well.  The Honda HSV and a couple of the old Ferraris like the 1980's Tesstarossa ( yeah then I can drive round Monaco listening to Crocketts theme!!!!) or a premium model of the Countach, Diablo etc etc.

As per tracks well for me it would have to be Silverstone international, Apricot Hill, New York, Midfield raceway, Seattle, A new extended version of the London track as in its current form its crap and one of my least favourite tracks. And of Course Bathurst but see my note above.  Marina Bay Street Circuit - Singapore,  Yas Marina Circuit - Abu Dhabi.

As for updates. An Offline / Online championship that you can set the following options.

How many Races the championship runs for. max 10

Total amount of Laps or Total Milage say 75 miles

Max/Min PP/BHP that can be used.

Types of cars ie FWD/MR/RW/4WD Hybrid, Electric etc etc. GT2 , LM Same type

Tyres all set to one type.

Pit stops Yes or No

Alloted Prize money upto 100,000 cr and 150,000 for XP

other updates:-

More use of the GT Coupons as prizes.

Track editor / creator needs to be updated Point to Point races are a must.

I might have missed a few out. I will add them later if I think of them.  I cant see alot or any of this being done but hey.

Regards

Hentis

This. It bothered me when PD mentioned they were going to give Nissan GTR GT500 Stealth away just because the GT Academy finished the North American competition. If I payed for Signature Edition I expected fully exclusive content. Not fair to give them away like that.
