Hi MusterBuster, exporting photo's is a treat (like GT5 is to me). Last year there was mention of exporting GT5 replays to YouTube, but currently this is not possible. Is this option planned for the near future, or maybe a way to convert GT5 replays to common video formats?

You dont need a memory stick either, just upload to a picture fold at facebook, that way you can simply copy n paste the url to show ya shots online. ![]()

MB, perhaps you could pass this on to PD...
When exporting photos to XMB, it would be nice if there was an option to use the filename rather than the description.
For example, if you take 7 photos of any car, they appear in the in-game gallery as photo0001.jpg, photo0002.jpg and so on, with a description which is the track you're racing on - e.g. 'Rome'.
When you export to XMB, though, they are all given a name that is the description - e.g. 'Rome' - rather than the photo index number. XMB handles this fine, but if you do a simple copy, you end up with 1 image rather than 7, as they all get the same name, and so overwrite each other.
You can overcome this by having the PS3 auto-rename the files, but then you end up with 'Rome_1', 'Rome_2' and so on. Then if you delete these files from your drive to make space, the numbers get re-used, which makes copying them to a PC a bit of a nightmare.
It would be much better if they were saved using the index number (i.e. 'photo0001.jpg') or at least incorprating it into the filename, so that copying them off elsewhere was easier. The number should also be persistent unless the user resets it, just as with Sony's digital cameras.

Answers my question – thank you.
Just out of interest, how did you manage to capture the output from your PS3 – some sort of 'screencast' software?
