Exporting Photos - A Guide

[ Edited ]

Hey people,

To help you share your GT5 experiences, we've put together a quick guide on how to take a photo in Gran Turismo 5, then export it to a USB memory stick. The video below assumes that you are in Replay mode, which is where you should start if you want to take a snapshot.

Once you've got your photo on a USB Memory Stick, simple follow our Image Uploads FAQ to post it here into the forum!

Enjoy,

Nice, so no need for the photo mode thingy? Standard cars can still be snapped :smileyvery-happy:

If everything else fails with Standard cars, one could always take a pic of the screen using real camera :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

Is there anyway of uploading the pictures you have taken, without using a USB, so i can put it on Facebook and what not?

^ Yes, use the Photo Gallery on the XMB. You can upload all Photo content on you PS3 via that application.

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

Well i've saved a pic of my first car on to the photo thing on my ps3, but there is no option to upload it.

I'd like to know how to upload it, and where i have to upload it to?

You can upload it anywhere you like.

If you have a USB drive, you can take it to a PC and upload it to Imageshack, Photobucket, Picasa, Flickr etc......

If you need to do everything from the XMB, you need to enter your Facebook account details under the Account Management section of the XMB (assuming you have an active FB account).  Once that is done, start up the Photo Gallery Application on the XMB, find your photo and goto the PSN section (press triangle to get up the options IIRC), from there you can upload to your FB or Picasa account.

TBH, the easiest and quickest way is to use a USB pen and a PC.  If you have never used the Photo Gallery Application before, take some time to experiment.

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

Thank you... only took 2 mins to upload it, after you explained it. That will be quicker than putting it on USB, as now i can put it on my Comp from Facebook
