Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

This is all very well, but is there a way of importing the pictures back into GT5?

I took some photo's and used one as my ingame profile photo, then I exported them to my XMB so I could send them to my mate via PSN messaging.

Then upon re entering the game my profile pic had vanished, as had all the photo's I exported....should have realised as its an Export to XMB NOT copy to XMB....LOL

Is there any way to get the pics back into your in game photo album?

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

That's odd.  ALL pics I have exported are still in the GT5 photo gallery

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

if you go here and click on GT5 my home in the top right of the screen you can view all the photos you have taken and copy them to your PC without having to use a USB stick

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

Yep, just logged in again to check, exported a photo  (RUF) to XMB and its still in the in game photo album.

However I am missing all the photos that I took previous to the photo's of the RUF, including the ones exported ( which were of a 76 golf gti and a 65 chevy)

In other words all my pics of the Golf and Chevy are gone, I only exported about 10 but took about 20!

The only photos I have are of the RUF at daytona, and yes the filter is set to show all.

Not sure if this is anything to do with it but when you goto my garage some of my cars are missing their "thumbnail image"

those being

suzuki cappucino

Dodge Charger 440

Nissan sileighty 98

Mitsubishi GTO twin turbo 96

nissan skyline ht 2000gtr 70

peugot 205 turbo 16 85

Subaru 360 58

RUF BTR 86

lexus is 200

toyota prius touring

VW lupo gti cup car

Hommell berlinette coupe 99

mazda demio sport

honda civic sir

toyota vitz 00

VW golf gti 76

Not that bothered, just interested to see if its just me.

Re: Exporting Photos - A Guide

if you use the method I gave above you don't need to export the photos from the game so it shouldn't affect the album

[ Edited ]
I just copy my GT5 photos to the PS3 XMB and then upload them to Picasa. Although, setting the photos to "online" and then grabbing them from the gran-turismo.com profile page sounds like it might be easier, I will give that a go later today.
