im just looking for some friends to add. i just come off xbox live after 5yrs..i got so sick of playing forza 4..so i traded my 360 in for a PS3. all i can say is it's the best thing ive ever done..GT5,s a hell of a racing game. im 35 live in england. ive been gameing for about 25yrs. i dont want to upset anyone but forza 4 not even in the same league as GT5..what the hell are 360 gamers going on about..just needed to get that off my chest. anyway thanks.

Welcome to the GT forum, S2N-Senna, and to GT itself!

Like any sort of nationalism, whatever games you buy get justified, one way or another, either to yourself or to others. Is this rational? Not necessarilly, but it is quite common for many players, for pretty well any game that you can name. At least you had an open mind about things.

However, that being said, I think you made a wise choice, at least for picking a racing / driving sim. I'm not sure how much research you put into your choice of console and, now, sims, but I am pretty sure you will have a good time with GT. It's not perfect and we all pick at its scabs, every now and then, but many of them heal over OK, in the long run.

You might also want to download the 2012 Academy demo from the PSN Store demos and start making waves, too. That would be quite an introduction.

i cant find the link to inbox you so i wont post any links on here just incase its not allowed, if you want to join a clan or drivers for a friday night, men who are of moderate age like yourself who like to fool around on the track and have serious racing add me (PSN: fastfast) thats a paradox as i hardly ever win

there are a couple of them on here but i cant remember their names and there is currently a series of historic car races going on if you dont mind tyre wear, swearing because of failure to drive correctly and pitting strategies...

To find active racing events here, just watch the top page.

Scheduled events include the introductory Sucker Free Sundays, which run all day long (when drivers are able to be active). That is also a great way to meet many good drivers from here.
