Hoved poenget her var å få justert gearratio riktig.

Takk for tipset.

English version:
I found this one very hard to pass. After a few days with experimenting with different setup I've found on the internet, I started from scratch. Many of the setups i found was for the 700 Performance Point version, but this setup is for the 750 Performance Point version. Most of the setups made the cars behave incredibly understeered loosing the tail entering, mid and exiting from corner.
The main point was to get the right gearratio. This setup gives you a very stable car, and I've managed a personal laprecord of 2:01:34. Total time: 10'26:480.
Another important thing is to go out all the way to the main menu, and back in again, the opponents will then behave differently. Sometimes they are impossible to catch, other times they are fairly easy to beat.
If you're struggling with this challenge, try my setup:

Hi guys!
Just wanted to thank the creator of this setup because it made me finish 3rd/16, which is fine for me, given the difficulty of this mission ( S-10 ). I had abandoned GT5P for over 2 years, hoping to find a decent setup that would allow me to finish. Now that GT5 is out, it was out the question for me to move on and leave unfinished business behind ![]()
Let me also add a couple of other data, which could help others finish this mission.

My lap times and progress (at the end of each lap):
Lap Position Time
L1 12/16 2’14.202
L2 10/16 2’03.983
L3 10/16 2’03.879
L4 04/16 2’02.631
L5 03/16 2’05.323
Finally, some hints & tips / do’s and don’ts:
* It’s not over until it’s over. Go to the end of lap 5 even if you’re far away from winning. Ending the game gives you experience, endurance and $$. Being excellent for 1 lap doesn’t mean you can repeat it 5 times in a row. Just look at the above progress. Some people would have abandoned at the end of lap 3 because you have no chances of winning from 10th.
* Start by learning the track, the car and achieve fast lap times. The other guys go very fast, there is no chance of winning (only) by pushing people out of the way.
* Stay focused at all times. I know it sounds silly, but when I won (or 3rd if you prefer), I was wearing a headset to avoid disturbing other guys in the same room. Coincidence? Don’t think so. In any case you need to listen to the engine and the tyre noises at all times. Bringing these effects straight into my ears, while isolating the external noises definitely had an impact!
* As for real driving, look far away and the exit of the turns, If you are close to a preceding car, NEVER watch his trunk or spoiler. You need to find a way to overtake him. Pushing the car in front of you slows you down big time.
* Practice, practice and practice, but not in the same day. Just a couple of (full) runs per day until you get there. Don’t get (too) mad if you haven’t cleared the event (yet). It’s simply because the event is very tough.
Of course, I saved my run and will upload it to youTube at some time (it’s not easy for me). Once it’s done, I’ll post again.
Now, all of the above worked for my driving style. It’s not a guarantee that it will work for you. At least I hope I gave you hope to keep on trying until you get there!
PS: Just realized that I am hijacking the Scandinavian forum, sorry about that, but since this setup was the best setup for me, I thought it’d better to continue this thread.

You just made my day ![]()
It's so fun to see that someone could use my setup. Watched the video too. I drove with a steering wheel. You should invest in that, makes a world of difference. Really enjoyed your comments on where to look. I use that tecnique all the time, so I forgot to mention this.
Anyways, I'm well into GT5 now.
Add me if you want to.
