If you manage to gold all of the events you win the cars Its not really that hard. Like you I have no chance of  taking part in the academy finals. I personally am not bothered with that. SO I just get a time with in the limiots set down for the gold and be done with it. I dont try bettering it.

Also please note. You need a few gig and hours to install the game onto your PS3's HD as well as the updates and there are a few of them. You might want the DLC as well

Have read how long it takes for GT5 to install, but thanks for heads up about all the downloads as well. Thankfully I have had a 640 GB hard drive put in my PS3.

So far I doing ok at getting Gold's, finding it getting harder though.

Ok people help me!!!!

I cant register for the GT academy on the website for some reason....

Its keeps telling me that there was an error and to try again but it never works.....

Ive only spent about 1 hour on the final stage and im currently about 1500th in the UK region and i feel confident on getting the required time even with my controller!!!!!

So how do i get round this issue? Is there a contact us page that i can go to?
