Anyway,

I have noticed some strange things about some of the No.1 placed drivers on the board, I'm using a Logitech G27 and I'm doing pretty much the exact same as they are in some of the early events, yet I cannot match their times.

Now, we're all supposed to be using the exact same cars, so in theory we should ALL be in with a fair chance here, - (Even DS3 users could get great results) - I have tried with no assists, and with assists on and in different combos as well, and still cannot match their times at all.

Also, when i ended up downloading their Ghost cars, and i get ahead of them, or maybe it's just their cars are level with mine (or vice versa), just as I'm about to cross the line, their ghost car jumps ahead of mine and finishes first... I Wonder WHY that is happening??, anyone else see this happening to them?

Another thing i have noticed happening is sometimes when i cross the line, I notice that a time is marked but then all of a sudden a second is added on it as it is stamped as my new fastest time... why does that happen?

BTW, If driving with two tyres off the track and two on the track means you get the top time overall and are selected, then is that really fair? (this is what the top placed drivers are doing),,

and seeing as in real life it would mean the two tyres which are off the track running on the grass/gravel would have less grip than the two tyres on the track you'd end up in an accident at some point and probably killing yourself or someone else or at the least screw the car up,,, it should not be happening at all.

So there you have it folks, take what you learned from the top timed drivers in this GAME, onto the real track and enjoy yourselves,,, no seriously dont, i was being sarcastic.

Me being the suspicious minded person i am, cannot help but think that certain "suck-ups" will be getting a little helping hand when it comes to the times they have placed, perhaps a second or two knocked off their time for sucking-up or being certain people? who knows.

i did notice this but thought that is what usally happens.

the amount of people with the same times anyway if they were in a joint postion most of us would be higher on the learder board we basically all have the same time just a few hundreds or thousands off. were all good. lol.

Yesterday, I noticed some timing issues at the finishline, as well.

At the moment, I am not sure what is going on, so thanks for posting about this.

Seems a bit wierd that timing issue ?

Well now i kow that it's not "just me", (not that I'm happy its happening to me or others), but now that i know it IS happening to one other person (so far) Its not going to get me labelled as some kooky 'conspiracy theorist'

'I know its not the private bank of england or the corrupt gubbermint', But I WILL now blame the evil leprachauns in my PS3 system!!! they just HATE the idea that i might get a spot on the leaderboard

Nice runs there dude, I'm a midgits ball hair off some of them times,, but even so, being ~100 splits off the time means you still place 1100 LOL

Cheers guys, just keep at them you'll improve, especially with the leaf just think about your line, and the turn in  your wheel or on the stick and your times will suddenly start coming down !

I was doing some licence tests yesterday and I think the time thing sometimes happend there as well. So it might not be a new feature.

I've definitly noticed it in GT acadamy.
