Hey Pretoria, you never got back to us ?
Can I ask what the head honcho's at Sony Aus/NZ actually do for us apart from add a extra 5% on to DLC pricing....These guys are just rocking up for their fat pay cheques aren't they, they don't actually give a stuff about us do they ?
Loyalty destroyed..........

Funny thing about GT Academy 2012, there are a few Australians and New Zealanders that have downloaded the game and we are doing quite well in the trophy rankings. As of today we have 4,322 Aussies racing with a total gold ranking average of 9.2, compared to the U.S who have 366,500 players with a ranking of 3.5.
On the average gold ranking list we are coming in second place with the Kiwis in 6th and the Yanks in 53rd. Don't ask me how the rankings work but it sounds to me that we have a more dedicated and serious racing community that can actually drive. It's not that hard a game to get gold on, beleive me.

I would say it is alot like the "CoD Map Pack Effect" that is causing that number.
I am an avid CoD player, and I have a K/D just short of 2.0 (1.91) and with the release of the map packs I am finding myself in lobbies were all the players are 1.5 K/D and up. Becasue they are more hardcore gamers, they have the map packs.
I would suggest it is the same for us Aussies on the leaderboards.
Only the committed (assumption: good) players are going to make sure they download the game. It isnt even marketed here, so the regular gamer wouldnt even know it existed.
This would effect Australia's results in a positive way.

Not so bad yourself Pretoria. I only got one clean run in (couldnt be bothered doing more) and I am still a half second off your time.... and I was ranked in the 33000's.

Thanks mate,
Took me hours to get that time, I was getting more confident & getting pretty close to the cones on a few of the corners. I find it alot of fun & could prolly go a lil faster but, i think i am done for GT:A. just hoping we get the cars & suit now on July 4th or around then ![]()
@Lion-Face, what do you have left to do in GT5 ? Must be very close to the Platinum if you ain't already
