GT Academy Issue

I've contacted Playstation Australia in regards to this issue and they seem to be aware of it, however as they're only running the competition they have no say or affect on what Polyphony does.  I haven't found a way to contact Polyphony.

For the stock 370Z in the competition has by default TCS set at 7.  This was probably deliberate to make the competition fair, as all the other settings are set and cannot be changed except for automatic or manual.  However many of the top times set in the stock car have their TCS set at 0.  These players are circumventing the TCS setting using a Driving Force GT.  This makes the car significantly easier to drive and thus easier to achieve a quick laptime if you have a good grasp of throttle control.

:smileysurprised: thats pretty crap that you have to have a specific wheel in order to have a good shot at getting into GT academy, something needs to be done about that

Re: GT Academy Issue

All wheels are forced to have no TCS, I haven't seen anything to suggest it's only the Driving Force GT. It's not going to restrict your shot at the top 20 anyway, there are 2-3 people in there that have used the controller.

Haven't seen anybody on the leaderboards with a wheel and TCS at the same time *shrugs*.
