It's time for our second challenge in the GT5 Arcade Challenge series. This week your challenge is to complete a time trial using a specific car and track in Arcade Mode only.

How to take part

We want you to complete your fastest lap on the given track, then after you are satisfied with your fastest lap, quit to the pre-race menu and take a screen shot of the Rankings board on the pre-race screen and post it in this thread. The time in your screen shot must be after the time that the challenge was set.

Week 8

Mode: Arcade Time Trial

Track: Sazuka Circuit East Course

Car: GranTurismo S '08

Transmission: Any

Front Tyres: Any

Rear Tyres: Any

Driving Line: On or Off

Car Tuning: Allowed

All other settings can be set to your own personal preference

The deadline for entries of Week 8 is Tuesday 17th April at 11:00pm (UK Time)

Well heres my best attempt so far. I doubt I could get any more time out of this lap.

This was using sports soft tyres.

All that talk about not finding more time I really think a 34 sec lap is possible. The key to a good lap is the 1st, 2nd and last corner.

Is it ok to use racing tyres or do we stick with comforts/sports?

any tyres... i use racing soft for the moment
