I did. it didn't help. I found a solution.

I grab my old laptop with Win XP 32, installed SP2 and .NET framework 2.0, plugged in this famous dongle and ran utility which I downloaded from fanatec website (http://www.fanatec.de/download/pwt_support/pwt_driver/PW_UPDATE_4V3.zip). I ran in twice because after first time it said "device not found".

After second time everything worked. After that all games started working on my PS3.

This utility does not work on Vista 64 and Windows 7 64 (tried both).

I am wondering why fanatec does not updated this dongle before shipping it ou having this problem for such a long time plus drivers are not updated. You have to find an old PC with XP 32 to be able to upload them. I sent them 3 e-mails, no response. The wheel is greate, the service is horrible.

I bought my fanatec porsche 911 turbo wheel last year , do u know if the dongle is compatible with GT5 or I'll have to upadte it with your link .....I don't want to buy a ps3 + gt5 without playing with a wheel
