How many of you that used the non proffesional  settings in previous GT's are finding it harder now that you have had proffesional settings "forced" onto you?

You are assumingly thinking that all the people complaining is doing that. In my case, you´re wrong.

The only big difference in playstyle and physics was from GT 2 to GT3, because now we can manage pressure buttons. If you play without the "nanny stuff", it´s a big difference to hgave that extra control. At least, I thought that at the time.

There is no way I can understand why the same car behaves differently on such a short time. Physics on this planet are mostly constant. And what I´ve said about the trigger sensitivity it´s the truth, no one can deny that.

All I can do now is wait. This demo though, has put me in a suspicious mode. Just like the crappy GT PSP. Which I can not bash enough.

Re: GT5 GT Academy blah blah blah

I don't mind the physics, however, the environment, the glitchy lighting, the horrible textures on everything BUT the car.

Sorry, but this is one massive let down. It just looks rushed, and NO, this isn't because it's the GT academy, PD knew very well that loads of people would be playing this and have their first impressions, they're not thick. They wouldn't purposefully put up a dull demo just because it's for the GT academy.

What are you talking about? Are you saying you can't understand the difference between GT5P and GTTT? If you are, it's called progress. And............ Gt PSP is totaly brilliant, I love it, you wouldn't believe how many cars I have in my garage waiting to be transfered to GT5, which is the only reason I bought it.

SONY themselves call it a demo.

What's the big deal?

Re: GT5 GT Academy blah blah blah

I'd hate to see how any of you complaining about spinning out at 40mph approach a tight corner when you drive in real life.

If I keep the speed at 30-40mph my 2 year old daughter can drive a lap with little assistance without spinning.

Anybody complaining about it being too realistic to drive on the limit, here's a top tip, GO A BIT SLOWER. Anyway, you'll be alright, muppet mode will be included with the full version I'm sure for you to play bumper cars around high speed ring.

And the guy who feels he's priced out of this competition, what??  You've got a £300 PS3, are planning to buy at least one £40 game, and reckon a sterring wheel is out of your reach? Trade in your copy of GRID and motorstorm and you'll be most of the way to a cheap wheel.

Please don't dumb this down PD, the physics are so much more direct with greater weight than GT5P, let those of us with a vague concept of how to take a corner have our fun as well.

It's purley a taster, a little bit of fun to fill time until the main game hit's the shelf's.

Just dipped into the 139's, got some serious seconds to shave.

Re: GT5 GT Academy blah blah blah

I can't say I was too impressed really. Sure I enjoyed it for awhile but the whole sliding out of control thing gets old fast and driving back to the road after spinning off onto the grass is annoying. Don't really care about the times and all that I'll leave it to the people who have streering wheels. I really can't see myself getting a wheel either because I have enough bits of cheap plastic laying around my house as it is with the Rock Band instruments, Megadrives, SNES's etc, That and I don't really play driving games that much anymore (not since the PS1 days anyway) so I don't really see much point getting a wheel for one game.

Overall though, My interest has dropped in GT5 now really. I can't really boast that its on my want list now anyway, there's just loads more out this year that interests me.

"Welcome to the GT Trial demo"

Yes, I'm calling it a demo because it is a demo.
