hey guys, i've written a tuning guidr for gt5.

 

i have exprience in building and tuning forumla SAE race cars so i thought ill share my info

Wouldnt this be more accurate after the game is released?  Or have you based this on prologue?

It does not matter about the guide being made for/around  gt5 prologue, when it come to driving skill and car setup, as the gt series is stimulation(so if you tighten the front springs on all cars in the world/in game, all cars would have a responsive nose/front steering, a car setup guide for gt1 would work on gt5, the setting and changes that you make will just be more noticeable

yeh but a tuning guide for Prologue won't be particularly accurate for GT5 with the fact that the physics in Prologue were not actually very good when it comes to simulation

 

*waits for Lion-Face to rock up and list a bunch of reasons Prologue has great physics*

 

but having played the time trial which was a huge step forward and having heard even from there the physics have improved a lot more (from people playing it at Gamescom ect.)

 

the general tuning principals may remain similar but any values will be completely useless

This tuning guide is similar to any race tuning guide for real cars.  The concepts are the same.  It isn't a "how-to" get the most from a particular car.  Good reference for handling problems.  Thanks for the effort.  I think we should get together and submit our settings on particular cars.  That would be something.
