GT5 car design

i think all cars in GT5 should have detailed interiors and the premium effects instead of the premium/standard thing coz i also have xbox live and all the cars on forza were extremely detailed interiored and full damage so i really think GT should do it 2!

Re: GT5 car design

*yawn*

oops, excuse me, I couldn't help myself there.

Welcome to Gran Turismo forum, by the way. I'm not sure where the Forza forum is, as I do not , nor ever will for that matter, have an xbox. I'm sure that someone will be along shortly to help you with your "problem."

Re: GT5 car design

What GT5_andy_m means is, we have all been down this road before.

Kazunori has said that PD is looking forward, not back to what they have done before, so much. This means we can look forward to getting more Standards made into Premiums, every now and then.

Remember the Jaguar XJR-9 you got in January?

PD is looking after you, but you just have to be a bit more patient.

You mean the jag we had to pay for to get a premium version of the exact standard one... how generous of kaz to take our money for something which should have been on the game from the start

You didn't have to pay for anything. And why should it have been in the game from the start?

For starters it wasnt Sony it was Polyphony Digital.

Secondly Turn 10 never had over 1000 cars to detail  PD would have thats why only 250 were it takes alot of time to do each car.

Thirdly Turn 10 outshopped alot of their car modeling to 3rd parties. PD does it all in house.

To be honest having 200+ Premiums and 800 plus standard cars with NO interiors does not bother me one bit  What does annoy me is the constant whining on about standards and premiums nearly two years after release.  Some people really do need to get over it.

I can see it when GT6 is released I expect there will be moaning if standards were released in that as well as more premiums.  As long as we have loads of cars to race then whats the problem?

I dont get into a premium car and go oh look at that interior lovely....better not drool alll over it.

Hentis.

Yeah, I think it annoys me too Hentis, although I do try, without much success, to show that here. It is a wonder, that with all the moaning and groaning that goes on, about little things really, that people waste their time with Gran Turismo.

And to all the whiners... please, do not get me wrong, there is much to improve with our beloved Gran Turismo, and I too will chip in every now and then with a quick "I wish..." but some of you guys take the biscuit.

@ MasterGT - Apologies for this dood. I know that you have an amazing amount of patience dealing with, and helping people here, and you will not approve, but every now and then I just have to vent my spleen...

Yup, exactly the one.

Now, think about this for a minute before you complain again about DLC - you can't have it both ways. For years, players asked for GT DLC. "Oh, wow, where's the love, PD?"

Now that we have it, stop complaining that you have to pay for it. Nobody said it would all be for free, and next time that you ask for a new feature, consider all aspects of what you are asking for. The "you", here, is plural, by the way.

Also,  some of you may not have been around when the original proposal for the next GT project was floating around. SONY had this wonderful idea that they would sell an empty GT 5. Tracks were to sell for up to $5 and cars were going to sell for anywhere from 50 cents to maybe over a dollar. (When I first heard this, I was livid and rallied the troops to get that idea squashed.) Now do the math and compare to what you now have in GT5. Also compare the current prices for DLC. Guess where those prices came from? This isn't magic, folks.

And just for the record, I never asked for car DLC. Yes, it is a good idea, especially with something like the Academy cars, but we need way more tracks than new cars, so if I was ever going to ask for DLC, it would be for more tracks.

So, do I get bothered when players complain about DLC?

No, because I know what could have been.
