GT5 is sooooo sloooow

Playing GT5 has become a burden this past week as its so slow to get a race going. I hardly ever play multi-player so I stick with the seasonal events and such but its painfully slow to load up. Its never been like this before. Other games play really well but not GT5. I love this game but its getting to the point where I dont want to wait 10 minutes just so all the cars can load in. The music also cuts in and out. Is it the game? Is it my PS3? Do I need to reinstall the game (hope not)? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the GT forum, captain_itchy!

 

From what I've heard, all of those accessories and cars start to add up to longer load times. Just how much I can't say because I don't have them all yet, but 10 minutes is a long time. If that is not an exaggeration, then I would say something is wrong.

 

I am not familiar with the sound cutting out problem. If it is not a hardware problem, then it may be your GT install.

 

To help you further, we would need more accurate details.
