Are there any plans for one of these? I have seen an article posted late 2009 that showed a 3-disc set but no one seems to know what the discs are and typing anything like 'limited/special GT5 edition' into google just gets this article...

I am really hoping there is a Special Edition, Dynamic Theme & some car model would be awesome, I am sure there will be unlockable special edition cars with unique paint jobs.

Also, moving this into the GT section

i agree Gavsta72....the release date is becoming a joke, this game is getting real old real fast, and its not even out yet, did have high hopes for gt5, but the whole thing is past ridiclous , rather plat forza 3, or wait for motogp 09/10.

Its all a sad effort on Sony's behalf

I'll certainly still buy it, although i will probably only get the standard game because i have a feeling that any sort of special / collectors edition will have a ridiculous price tag

Will it really though?... I mean, I'll buy it and enjoy it and everything else, but prologue and the full game could be a good couple of years apart yet here, so you've gotta wonder what they are doing with it?

And 'worth the wait'... well, I know human nature being what it is, a lot of people are going to go "is that it?" when it does come out.. at the end of the day it is a game that involves driving cars around tracks, and it isn't a game where NFS type gimmicks will work.
