Don't know about the best car in the game, but the best car I currently have would be the Toyota Minolta race car which you can tune up to about 990BHP, great in the corners too!

1071BHP

:smileywink:

That's interesting, I did what little tuning could be done to it and got 990BHP!!! I'm guessing yours is better broken in than mine?

I don't know to be honest, I only realised when I arranged all my cars in order of BHP. Try giving your Minolta to a one of your B-Spec drivers to thrash around in, maybe yours still has alot of bedding in to do mate. :smileyhappy:

Best car.... hard decision but gotta say Lancia Delta Integrale, sounds awesome, drives good, is well balanced and has a great history as a car.

in other terms, it also looks gorgeous because it can be easily spotted as a Delta, unlike most supercars which looks almost the same and are dull to drive.

GT5's best car for me is the Afla Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600. Lovely looking car, great to drive, nice for drifting and its a classic.

Re: GT5's best car ..... and why??

Good thread! for me the best car overall is the GTR VSpec 09. It handles so well and looks the business. Any gtrs are great though.

On a side note i would mention that there is my second favorite car in the OCD at the moment. The Nismo 270R and id say to anyone who doesn't yet own it to buy it, its a hidden gem. Not because its fast or handles particularly well, in fact its the flaws that make it fun, somtimes it will overstear, other times it will understeer. Somtimes you will predict when it will happen, other times you wont! :smileyvery-happy:

Give it a try, it doesnt cost much, keep it as it is, no upgrades, all aids off barr abs at 1 and it will put a smile on your face.

Re: GT5's best car ..... and why??

I dunno, but 5 that popped into my head are............

Mazda 787B Stealth Model

The sound it makes when it ticks over. And the speed. It's got me through some tough races.

Lexus IS F Racing Concept

No other touring car sounds like it. And it handles really well too.

Nissan GT-R Black Edition '12

It just gets on the power so well.

Mclaren MP4-12C

It's the overal package. Tuned to perfection from stock

Mazda RX-7 TC

It just sticks to the track around Nurburgring. Sounds quite good too.

If I put more thought into it. I'll probably come up with some completely different answers :smileyvery-happy:

To me there isn't really a BEST car of all... its all about when you use it,

Race tracks with long straightaways: Bugatti Veyron
Races with high PP (700'ish): Nissan R92CP Race Car
Races with average PP and alot of corners: Nissan GT-R Stealth model
Races restricted to low HP cars: Suzuki GSX-R/4 Concept
Races with average restricted Weight / Power: Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car
Drifting: Lamborghini Miura, Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car, Jaguar XJ13
Free Run: Merecedes SL 300, Lamborghini Miura, Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car, Jaguar XJ13 and other modern cars, depending on my mood, but mostly Premium.

In overall... I like Ferrari's 330 P4 Race Car performance, behavior and looks, its allways fun to drive. Just a shame that I can't change the numbers, color or wheels though.
