Is it just me, or does the handling on the cars seem really bad? I played it for the first time, and it seems to have taken a real turn for the worse.

what cars are you driving mate? GT5p is completely different in feel to GT4, that's a given, but the handling isn't bad. I'd say it's a lot better overall.

don't know. the cars seem to have no weight shift and seem a little robotic to control. even gt4 had it on some cars. gt3 was the last time i felt the control was "realistic"

the handling is fine just takes a bit of getting used to if you have been playing gt4 recently

The cars do feel lighter. And they are, overall, easier to drive. I think this is because it is a prologue, not the final physics model. Also it does help newcomers to the game. But when you play other racers on the PS3, GT5p feels so much better than everything else. I don't like the handling in most other games, compared to GT5p.

Make sure you are using Expert physics and no driver aids.

Standard physics aren't realistic at all.

Turn the aids off and take the Zo6 for a spin.

Yep, i went for a "spin" in the tuned vette the other nite, was doing a 5 lapper against the AI, added around 5 more laps, due to not being able to keep the bloody thing from spining out exiting corners!!  Mind it was the first time in a few months ive turned a wheel in anger!!!
