I'd like all cars from GT5 to be premium with new cars, and i really want the Vauxhall Astra VXR in the game, so we can have the 3 way battle of the hatchbacks with the Focus and Golf
The Golf GTi isn't trying to compete with the Astra VXR. It's competing with the Corsa VXR, Clio Cup Sport, Mini Cooper-S and Citreon DS3.
I don't think VW has a direct competitor for the Astra VXR, Ford Focus RS and Citreon DS5. It may say Hatchback on the manual but all true comparisons against the smaller classes. And then for the Polo Gti, that competes with the Swift etc

i would like some of the cars from gt4 such as that nissan road car thingymebob, xj220 (road version) gt40, pd race car, err...oh... and no more mx5's or skylines thanks.
oh and i think the more variety the better. they ve got to have a good mix of open wheelers such as caterhams, atoms, radicals, formula cars such as f renaults or fords and go karts and a good mix of european cars that we all want to drive, no more stupid japanese cars- good ones yes but dont be ridiculous. and please porsches!!!!
look at shift 2 unleased car list. that only has a tenth of the cars in gt5 and yet it makes better use of the number of cars it has.
alsooooo, look at forza 4 when it comes out. forza's car list is stronger, customisation, career structure, menus (f12010 is the best for menus + strategy in races), and online is ALL BETTER THAN GT5, however with better lighting (ie: eradicating dark cockpit view and silly shadows) gt6 graphics will be far superior to that of anything else. it career mode needs to change but hey, more race cars and competitive ai would be delightful!!!
heres a guy upset because his ps3 got ylod last night. ![]()

We really need a comprehensive collection of contemporary racecars - By that I refer mainly to endurance cars. Having the ILMC (Intercontinental Le Mans Cup) would give a wide range of racecars and the circuits include Spa-Francorchamps so it is easily worth it. Also, GT5 has the Audi R10 TDI '06 and Peugeot 908 HDi FAP '10. The 4yrs between these cars saw significant performance advances so the 908 HDi FAP has an advantage from the off. The only reason I say this is they are the only diesel endurance cars so not having comparable performance is a big oversight.
I also echo the sentiment of only having Premium cars in GT6 as Standard models just don't cut it nowadays particularly when you consider the quality of rival offerings. I think GT5 was a victim of someone wanting a fantastically impressive number to stick on the box and a development process which when it comes to the Premium cars was excessive - In Photo Travel, when poking the camera through a car, I have seen fully modelled elements in cars which can never be seen in replays or when driving as they are in compartments within the car. Even a fully damaged car fails to expose these. The detail is unrivalled but some of it is undeniably superfluous and is taking time better utilised elsewhere. I would much rather have 400 Premium cars alone than 200 Premium and 800 Standard.

More Volvo's like the 940 estate and 360 hatchback. A Ford Thunderbird would be nice.![]()

Yeah it really does, slipping and sliding in and out of the corners at full speed, bouncy and damn fun to drive! I'm quite surprised the Mini hasnt had the full premium treatment to be honest because its a huge icon in the vehicle industry and made history and an all round well loved car by many and would rather prefer the old 60's Mini to the newer 1.3i '98 Mini.
