From videos its hard to judge so I don´t know but yeah there has been strong words for the differences between standard and premium example as mentioned for interior view and damage. The car list is a bit what it is with many cars seen in previous games but atleast on the time,what the game has taken to be released, I´m sure it will be  a great experience. Still as always,all won´t be happy for sure and for some it will surely be a big disappointment. Pure GT for sure but will it be more? that will be seen....

What comes to F1 cars,I really don´t know why people wants them for everywhere these days. The Ferrari F1´s are a really nice add and there is still also the traditional Gran Turismo Formula also to drive.. I just wonder have them updated it or is it their ´04 Formula.

Also as said,yeah many newer cars missing from 08-10 and I really expected it also to be more in time but its probably good for us or game could been delayed even more. I´m also more a fan of the classics when no one wasn´t picky about the sounds and how much fuel it uses.

Still expected more race cars. Example more of old and new Le Mans,Rally,touring cars and even some newer Dakar rally cars would been cool. Touring cars example would had a huge potential example. Also when we look WRC and NASCAR licenses now,them are a bit "outdated" by having 2008 cars .

It has been confirmed by Kaz himself that standard cars do NOT have interior view.

Unless he was blatently lying to add drama......

Im looking forward to it. Just alittle disapointed about the one of the most basic point of a racing game missing. *****-pit view for all cars. Also they could of taken 200 cars out and used that time for something more important than 30 Skylines and 20 Honda S2000 etc.

Apart from that GT5 is everything i could of hoped for. Well i hope it will be. Roll on the 24th

its japanese . pretty much skylines evos and supras and anything with a dirty honda badge on it is a must for them .

some of their choices for premuim cars make me laugh . focus rs and a pruisus . what a waste . im just happy the colt cyborg and gt turbo mr2 are still there ....as i own them both

An intersting task for someone bored, how many of these cars are actually new  to gran turismo?

Cross referencing form car lists from GTPSP etc. Not all that many unfortunately, I was hoping for a few more touring cars etc.

It was previously mentioned somewhere that not many in the list are actually from 2007/8 onwards.

Still buying it though.

I am happy with what we got. Some of the features we are getting are that far ahead they were planed for GT6 not 5 eg the weather and dynamic day and night.

Im not reading through 5 pages of this so it might have already been posted. 1031 cars but the list doesnt include the Stealth cars or the chrome cars, which will be premium too. Also the Red Bull X-1 is not there, i might have missed it, so in conclusion, expect some suprises when you are working through the game.

I dont want to know everything before i get the chance to find it for myself.

Just like you raybrig I can be bothered to read all the posts. You did miss the X-1, it's under gran turismo. But I do think a few cars are missing, as I would of thought we would have the redbull F1 car. But then again I might of missed it, but I've been through the list 10 times now
