Re: Gran Turismo 5 - Full Car List

not so wowed at all.. Most of the 300 new "cars" are just variations. And I counted about 50 cars that were 2007 or newer and three quarters of which were race cars.
So there are only about 20 new road cars and maybe a few more classics that were'nt in GT4?!

Seriously? i mean 2 new mercs? no new ruf/porsche? no new aston but 40 variations of a datsun?
bleh such an anticlimax now ive really been disappointed.

Some say he has counted to infinity... Twice, and that his eyes blink horizontally. All we know is, he's called the STIG..

Re: Gran Turismo 5 - Full Car List

Looks like an overload of Japanese manufacturers to me, I mean who wants cars like the Honda Jazz, Mazda Demio, Nissan Cube or the Toyota Yaris?. It would have been better to leave out a lot of the Jap cr*p and put in some more decent cars, there isn't even one Sierra or Escort Cosworth. Do we really need that many NSX's or Skylines?

Re: Gran Turismo 5 - Full Car List

Seems there might be 3 grades of vehicle. Standard, PSP Premium/Standard and Premium. The PSP versions are the extra P/S labelled ones in the list. They have better models than the Standard but it is unknown whether they include any interior view or working components.

Re: Gran Turismo 5 - Full Car List

I like that some of my favourite cars from past GT's are there, but I also see a lot of(in my own opinion) very unpopular cars, that have also been there before, The list still seems way over populated with  Japanese cars, for which most of them are pants.

I still would of liked to have seen more from The American past and European Past, 5th instalment in and loads of Jap cars, its probably why Ive got a Jap car though I didnt see the 200sx s14a 97' onwards on the list. No 80's 90's classics like Ford XR2/3/4 or my first car the metro (teehee not so good but there was the 6r4 version)

Re: Gran Turismo 5 - Full Car List

I still cannot believe the Veyron is a standard car. Come on, one of the most groundbreaking and brilliantly engineered cars in history, and it has been neglected in what is being called one of the best driving games ever.

There are still hundreds of cars I'll enjoy driving, but, such a high profile car being ignored isn't great..

Re: Gran Turismo 5 - Full Car List

Well, I'm more than happy. Yes we could all speculate the cars that aren't on there, but look at the ones that are! There's everything from a go kart to a Veyron. I'm pleased to see a few of my cars from the past (Renault 5 GT Turbo & Fiat Coupe Turbo amongst others) are on there for added nostalgia.

I can't wait to get back into the Gillet Vertigo, what a sweet drive that was! I want it, NOW :smileyhappy:
