Gran Turismo

Hello all and welcome to the Official PlayStation Community Gran Turismo 5 Sunday Driver's Lounge. 

Every Sunday afternoon from 9pm we welcome you to our GT5 lounge for you to come and chat and take part in a series of various races and generally have some plain old racing fun.

Here's some of what the first session will involve:

Free Run + Standard Race

To start off we will be choosing a track as well as a car. To make things fair everyone will use the same car. We will begin with a free run of a track where we will start off with a drive around a track until we are ready to start. 

Shuffle Race

A new feature for Gran Turismo 5 is the option to race using a random car from a particular vehicle class. This will make things more interesting than the standard race.

Rainy Race

Pretty self explanatory. This race will involve driving on a rainy track. Like the standard race a specific car will be chosen that everyone will have to use.

Snowy Race

Stepping up the game from the slippery wet tarmac, this race will take place on a snowy terrain with all drivers attempting to traverse it like a speeding shopping trolley.

In the coming weeks we will feature more race types so feel free to give us your ideas for races as well.

To take part

Fortunately you no longer need to add your name to the list to take part. Just keep an eye on the thread and look out for the room number and if there is space available, simply join.
