Hey all my friend told me that hes seen a site saying that poliphony will no longer release gt5 in march 2010, is this true?!

if it is wth i was expecting so so much this game

i know the devs are trying to make it better and better and im totally with them but why dont they just specify a reasonable release date instead of disapointing us over and over and over again with fake ones?

That was the Japanese release date, which has been delayed.

SCEE confirmed that this will not affect the EU release date... Which was, is, and probably always will be TBA.

Its expected around June time has been for a while now.

I suspect its more down to the title releases, GT5, GOW3 and FFXIII all in the same month.  GT5 sales will suffer a LOT as many peoples priority is FFXIII or GOW3.   Release in june and Thats the HUGE launch ofthe month and sales will soar, possibly blowing away sales from any other game in 2010.

Business and good for the PS3, releasing it in a different Month than FFXIII and GOW3 gives it the best possible chance of another year with a PS3 Exclusive as GOTY.

The only games on XBOX people are looking forward to is Alan Wake (Which personally i htink looks dated and crap) and the NEW Halo.  

Game sales goes a LONG way towards GOTY.

Well technically we never had a release date so ithas not really been delayed.

If its delayed then it'll be Sony's call, i believe this game is complete and has been that way for some time. Shame on you Sony its getting abit on my nerves waiting for a decent realistic racing game..something which the ps3 doesnt really have!!!

I have had enough of the release dates changing within a couple of months of the

expected release date.

Why is is it Forza 3/4 was never postponed this many times.

Official ones, backed up by a press release? Zero, none. So far, we only heard one "target date" uttered by Kazunori, back a few months ago, which was recinded. Anything else has been a fantasy date invented by web sites or magazines, etc.

Im not surprised at all by the delay in Japan. Too much money has gone into this game for it NOT to be a simultaneous world wide release. My money would be on a summer release (June/July). Make sense when you think we are (possibly) about to see the best season in the history of Formula 1.
