phew really enjoyed the challenges of the 2012 GT Academy, well done to all who took part, am pleased I got gold on all rounds, but miles from the qualify top 25 times to go further, gutted oh well never mind next year !...........And boy was 8-5 hard, of was it me..... I managed to get gold eventually (1.35.053) but it took me ages, at last I got gold pew I thought ,  but for some reason it has given me a silver trophy instead of the hallowed gold one!, Does this mean  that I won't be eligible for the car from round 8, anyone else had same problem?

At the end it says

Prize Collection Period: July 4th, 2012 – January 25th, 2013

So you still have a 9 day wait.

Yes, we get the prize cars when everyone else gets them.

Nothing changed, in that regard.

Congratulations on completing with all golds, but I am curious. If you struggled to get the 8-5 gold and you were miles from gettibg a top time, why would you feel "gutted"?

However, you are not alone in getting a gold time and only receiving a silver cup. I don't know if that means anything or not yet.
