The headlights when driving at night on low and high beam doesn't really lght up the road enough to see ahead until the last second. The projection from the lights should be a little more realistic tooooo. When will there be an update for thisss???? =D

I used to think the same thing, but I was watching the ILMC, which includes a 24hr race at Le Sarthe, and I reckon the lights in GT5 are not too far off.
We can "cheat" of course by altering the brightness or gamma settings of our monitors
Another thing to consider is, look at your speedo when in a night section of a GT5 race, and ask yourself, "could I go that fast round the pitch black country lanes of the UK?"

Looks pretty good and long visibility to me, some real cars have worse high beams than this:

Found an old photo I took when I still had '90 Mazda 323 about it's high beams at night for comparison:

I think they are pretty accurate. Don't forget that most of the time on gT5 you are driving at high speed and the tracks aren't lit by street lights for the most park like regular roads are.
Many times I drive at night and have to knock my full beams on because dipped offers almost zero visibility apart from what is directly in front.

I think they are fairly accurate too, if you watch the 24Hr video on GT5 TV you can see what it's like driving a race car at night, looks quite like what the game represents - as carp as they may seem.
Try driving at night keeping the car at 60mph and you'll feel the benefit of the headlights, though you might not win many races ![]()
