I got the dlc that has most things ( 11 TC cars, redbull 2011, 2 tracks, the 100 colours and the outfits) about 1-2 weeks ago and it was working fine. But today I was doing a b-spec endurance race with the redbull 2011. I quit the race prematurely to play with friends. But when I went to select the 2011 it said that I need to reinstall the dlc. I can't use any of the dlc cars also I can't use the tracks. The only thing I can use is the paint and outfits. I tried buying 1 of the dlc cars from the dealership and I was able to use it, but I can't just go buy them all. Thanks in advance Codez47

Go to the main menu of GT5 where the DLC button is and install your DLC again? Would be my best guess, random error.

I tried that but it says installation complete. There's no option to reinstall.

Hi there,

If you navigate on your XMB to Game, and open Game Data Utility, find the DLC for GT5 (if it's in a separate folder to the game install) and delete it.

You could try deleting the entire game from here as well, but bear in mind how long it took to install, and how big the patches are, so you can ensure your Internet service will not get shaped, and you have enough time.

Else give us a call at the Support Centre and we'll see what else might fix it.

The DLC isn't separate, it's downloaded as part of the previous patch, so you will likely have to delete your HDD Data for GT5 and start again, re-download the patches (approx 3gb's) and re-install the game data.

NOTE: the HDD Data for GT5 is separate from your GT5 Save Data, make a backup of your save data before doing anything more

I was thinking if I delete the game data, and reinstall and everything will the dlc show up in the downloadable content thing at the main menu? Because it doesn't show that you have purchased in the psn store.

Thanks for your help guys, but I fixed it myself. I went to the psn store and downloaded the free family pack upgrade and now I can use all the dlc cars and tracks =D

YES Thank you. i just spen the whole day reinstalling the whole game and it didn't work but this seems to have fixed it. bloody stupid way of doing it but anyway it worked. thanks
