When I fire up GT5 for the 1st time on a new day, I receive the normal message:

"You have received today's online login bonus:

10 Museum Cards
10 Paint Items

The amount of experience and credits earned from completing events has also increased to 200%"

When I click okay, I then receive this:

"Warning

You don't have room for any more items.

Please use or delete some items and try again."

Is it museum cards or paints causing the problem?

I have all but 9 of the complete collection of cards and 3308 coloured paint items. My save file size is 4466KB.

I do possess multiple quantities of many of both collectable items.

I have started to purge my museum cards BUT they can't be deleted and you can only pass 5 a day onto a listed friends.

Anyone else suffered this and have any advice?

Museum cards are a real problem, however a request has been sent to PD to allow us to delete them and we have not got that ability yet (so watch the next game update closely).

Delete anything that you don't need and that you can delete.

For now, that's all you can do. 

You are allowed 7,000 accessories, etc.

Thanks for the reply and info about the 7,000 limit. I didn't know that. At least I can delete duplicate paint items so I will purge them and send on to friends, 5 duplicate museum cards each day.

Just curious, I have a further thought regarding museum cards. If you had 9 of a particular card for instance. What happens if you were to recieve other of that particular card? Does the count stay at 9? Does it change to a count of 1?

I'm told that Museum cards don't count towards the 7,000, so as far as I know at this point. they don't matter.

I keep deleting lots of paint and helmets but the next time I play they all reappear. I have tried deleting single items and get the same result. The item count goes down when I do it but returns when I next play.
