Re: Help on B-spec extreme series NASCAR

1st Don't try to win the championship with all golds first atempt. no real Nascar driver ever wins every event.
You only need to finish the daytona event with 1point a head to win.
You can redo single events to get all gold.

2nd Nascar is won buy tuning the car for each track not just B-spec level. (level 26 is very easy to get to.)
lower top speed and increase down force for non oval tracks.
Tweak the shocks and ride height for Daytona its bumpy. ( its been resurfaced since PD went there. )

3rd Make sure the cars engine is run in and oil is new for MAX BHP.

Re: Help on B-spec extreme series NASCAR

GraphiteGB, got it spot on, the only thing I'd add, is on non-oval tracks DON'T try to go the distance at full chat, it will just destroy your tyres and you wont get anywhere, overtake tactically and if you get the lead try to hold your driver at about half way, he'll be quick and should hold the lead easily but he'll also be clean so he won't destroy the tyres. If you still have trouble this topic was discussed in detail before, if you find the thread there are a lot of tips there. Hope that helps. :smileyhappy:

Thing is tho the ABS/ASM gets locked from the second last event, since one of the updates, when means you end up with it on for Daytona, which makes you to slow, or its really difficult to do Laguna without it.

Spam increase pace/over take when approaching long straight sections. Spam decrease pace when in tight tricky sections or there is tyre spoke :smileyhappy:

Do watch over him the entire race = championship won!

rather than spamming the pace buttons, find the points in the circuit where you need to change pace then you can get into a rhythm for changing the pace (increase pace at the apex of the last corner before a straight, decrease pace at the braking point just before a tight tricky section, maintain pace if you have got him at the right speed for the section and there is time for the cooldown to wear off for you to issue a new order for the following section)

winning is the same as in A-Spec

learn the course(s) so you know where to go fast and where to go slow and pay attention to what is going on on the track.

if you know that everyone is going to pit for fuel or tyres, pit at the halfway lap (especially if you are stuck in traffic and can't pass). their tyres will then be in much worse condition than yours so you will be able to catch up fairly quickly and should be able to pass them all when they pit at the end of the race to get fuel.

on a side note, when I spell checked this, it couldn't find a match for Ytevo79 and suggested Hottest instead. seams that the spellchecker likes you LOL
