Hey all, can someone give me some tips on driving at Daytona Oval in nascars. I just cant get my driving style right to keep up with the other nascars. I understand slip streaming and everything and I find it easy on the other oval track, but i just cant find a good rythm through the high banked turns. Im only using the hand controller which probably isnt ideal, but any tips??

Without knowing what you're placing or where specifically you may not be succeeding, I would start with the basics such as tuning your car to be more suited to the track than the opponents. There are many suggested tunes but here is the one that worked for me both for A-Spec and B-Spec. So some settings don't apply to A-Spec but can be used anyway.
First make sure all driving aids are off besides driving line and try the ABS setting at max (10).
Downforce at minimum (F:20 & R:40)
Maximum Speed at default (400km/h I think)
LSD settings:
Torque 60
Acceleration 60
Braking 5
Suspension Settings:
Camber (F:3.0 & R:2.0)
Toe (F:0.00 & R:0.20)
Height at maximum (F:15 & R:15)
Springs (F:17.5 & R:17.5)
Both Dampers Front and Rear at default (8 I think)
Sway Bar Front & Rear at default (6 I think)
Brakes (F:0 & R:0)
You can find other great tunes on gtplanet and others here may know of settings that worked for them.
All the best!

Thanks for that iadvise, good iadvise. I had given up on trying to complete the Nascar special event at Daytona, but those tips and with plenty of practice i'll get it.
