No bikes in Gran Turismo please.
They put bikes in Project Gotham 4 on the Xbox 360 and it ruined it in my opinion.

Are there bike sim periferals, if your gonna do a bike sim thay would be needed like instead of a wheel a set of handle bars and gear shifter with rear brake !
You don't necessarily need peripherals to play a sim. Plenty of people play GT5 on control pad.
The only 'realistic' peripheral for a motorbike sim would be the ones you see in arcades, where you actually sit on a model motorbike and lean it over to get around corners. Not possible for the home market. But since riding a bike is all about leaning, a joystick (and to some extent, a thumbstick) feels like a more natural way of controlling a virtual bike than it does for a virtual car. Not realistic, but more natural.
Infact are there any good bike sims out there - and I do meen sims?
Superbike 2001 (with minor mods) is probably the best bike sim I've played. Unfortunately it doesn't work well with todays hardware and WinXP+, if at all. Most of the more modern bike games are arcade racers, not sims (MotoGP series, for example). About the only one that claims to be a sim is the SBK series, but even though they're made by the same dev that made Superbike 2001, they've all been rubbish so far.

i love riding and i love many types of bikes, but i don't want them in GT5. if PD would like to copy all the GT5 tracks over and release Tourist Trophy 2, i'm all for it. bike racing is a tricky market to sell around, so i'm not holding my breath.
also, while they're at it... they can take NASCR@P out and release it seperate to all the rednecks who love driving stickers in a circle. maybe they can add Hardleys to it, and people can get online to race from bar to bar, just like they do in real life. you'd only need two colors of bike... black and chrome.

...already gets its own official game each year. No idea why PD thought it was necessary to add it to GT5 too. Waste of two tracks and a bunch of premium cars....
