How do you get 480 max speed in transmission mine says 298 is max speed

my friends is 480 but why not mine at first we thort it was my friends car is somehow better but then it was on another 1 of his cars so obv something else any idea anyone?.

You need to change the 'final drive'. The lower, the faster your car will go.

its not rhe final gear thing mines the same as my friends and for other guy its the same speed rating so its MPH friends = 480 with all gears the same as mine, Mine = 298 *****

whats your friend got an F18 hornet, I'll be @#$%&% if I have any car that does 768kmh, it is not possible unless GT5 has the blue flame as a car. :Stupid:

lol when you go to transmission, Go to max speed, Move it to max ( Mines 298 ). My friends is 480

 

Thats what i wanna hit but mine only goes as high as 298 so im really confused as to why.

 

He recond it was my level but iv leveld my b-spec guys and it hasnt changed. The only thing if it is level is my a-spec lvl other than that id be damnd if i know

Yours is in MPH (Miles Per Hour) and his is in KMH (kilometres per hour)

Look, it can't be so coincidental, yours is set to MPH and his is set to KMH.

 

Just double-check your options and the units of measure.

Weight, car setup etc...........

 

If you adjust a car, they are not identical.
