OK, i've built the seat raiser and attached a dashboard.......all good so far
All up $10.50 for a sheet of MDF for the seat raiser, and the dashboard was made from a piece of pine i had lying around, plus screws and glue i already had...........no way i was gonna pay $130 for a seat raiser from Hyperdrive. I added a support on the seat raiser (as suggested by PAPO) to stop the seat flexing back.
I'll do a few hours of driving to make sure the seat is the right height and distance from the wheel, then i'll give it a coat of black paint which i also have in the shed.
BTW, i cancelled my order from Hyperdrive because i found this 2nd hand one on ebay instead, $160 with the premium padded seat cover, including delivery. The same thing new, with the premium padded seat cover is $272 delivered
