GT5 won't let you acquire the Academy prizes because there won't be room for the gifts. We are allowed 2,000 cars and 7,000 accessories.

Delete enough duplicates now to ensure that you won't have trouble, on July 4th.

Have you been able to clarify yet whether or not Museum Cards count toward the 7000 total?

According to Digital-Nitrate (RIP), from GTP, cars and Museum cards do not count for the items list.

Cars have their own maximum, but I am not sure about Museum cards.

Yes, horns, helmets and suits are also accessories.

Cheers MastrGT for the heads up, I had to delete a lot of paints/horns lately, but I'm sure

I had less than 7000 items.

Well I did have 4000 paints and 1480 cars and various other tuning bits.

instead of deleting try passing on cars to friends who may want or need them

anyone who needs to create some room, i would greatly appreciate any cars you are able to send to me.

I could lend some of the cars, paint items or racing gear for anyone who needs any

Only thing I cannot give away are Chrome or Matte colours, mainly because I've had only 3 chromes so far and never been bothered with duplicating these.
