Re: If you could upgrade one standard car, which?

Cheers for all the responses. The vote winner so far is the classic Jaguar E Type closely followed by the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton.

I'd be more than happy with the Jag becoming premium.

The list is as follows:-

Toyota 2000GT (only me it seems :smileyindifferent: )

DTM (non specific)

DTM BMW

Audi R8 with Playstation livery

Saleen S7

Delorean

VW Nardo x2

Lambo Countach

Mini Cooper 1.3

Jaguar E Type x6

Jaguar XJ220

Nissan LeMans

Holden (either)

Ford GT40 LeMans x2

Chevorlet Corvette C4 1990

Volvo 240GLT Estate 1988

Chapperal 2J

Vauxhall Lotus Carlton x3

Peugeot 206 S16

Toyota Corolla AE86 Levin

Audi S4 (looked great in Chrome  )

Jaguar XF-R 2010 (I'm suprised a 2010 car wasn't premium too)

Mercedes E190

Mitsubishi Galant VR4 1989

Lancia Stratos (count me in for that)

Quite a varied list and, as a couple of posts suggest, because of that I doubt if we could get these cars upgraded.

The other problem is that I wanted the 2000Gt until I saw the Stratos on the list! So many cars to choose from.

Hopefully the suggestions will keep coming.

Not so hasty.

If a small group of ten or less cars lead all others, then maybe a forum poll can be put up to control this better and make it a bit more formal. If you can come up with some sort of consenus here (so, the more votes the better), I will do my best to present the one car to PD as "The People's Choice" and see if they will agree to build it. It still is up to them, but at least we will have had our say.

In the meantime, I am going to see exactly what holds them back on picking any of the 800 Standard cars to work on. There has to be a reason, and I think I know what it is, but let's have them say it first.

Is this the way it is listed in your version?

Here, it is a Lotus Carlton, '90.

Re: If you could upgrade one standard car, which?

It is the Lotus Carlton '90 but the x3 is the number of people who would like to see it upgraded. Equally, it was x6 votes for the E Type.

Wasn't sure if that was clear when I did it, hope it makes sense now.

Re: If you could upgrade one standard car, which?

OK, just curious. That is the way it is listed in the NA version's car list, as I don't own one of my own yet, to check it.

According to Wikipedia (and we know they know everything...), the car can be a:

Lotus Carlton

(in mainland Europe the Lotus Omega)

Vauxhall Carlton or

Opel Omega

I haven't made my own choice yet, but I like the idea of the Carlton because PD didn't preemie the GNX.
