Why would you want to do that during a race?

Why don't you just watch a replay and take pictures in photomode?

Or stick a B-Spec driver in your car so that you can watch it from the outside?

why isnt it there in the first place?

ALL racing games have that but GT the so called SIMULATOR

the game is in 3D and 3D for TV' supporting it but it feels its 2D , cars have only front and back...no sides...

Yes a simulator. When did you ever see a driver hurtling along at speed with his head out the window admiring the side of his car...? 

You're supposed to be looking at the track in front of you, if you want to do silly things like that then go and play an arcade game like NFS or GRiD or something because obviously your first concern isn't actually racing.
