Googling GT5 and reading what ever results i find "trying to kill time before the F1 at 8am and work at 10am" Just found a website "Link ....http://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-5-game-features-announced/ "

Reading down the list of features "i hope this is official" Sound- Use songs from your hard drive!!!!!

I for one think this is an awesome step forward, with GT4 i would listen to my ipod and have the tele muted because i wanted to listen to my own music whilst racing, Now it looks like we can do the same but with the added bonus of hearing the engines roar!!!! and being able to enjoy all the sounds the game has to offer along with my own music choices SCORE!!!!!!!

Yep its been implemented into GT PSP so there's no reason why it shouldnt have gone into GT5. Still  we will have to wait and see.

this got me thinking what i'll listen to when that day (GT5 release)finally comes.

most probably 'this is the one' by stone roses while throwing the Ciroen C4 around a new rally stage/circuit.

or 'porcelain' by Moby while hammering through the green hell in an Enzo....

Ive always turned off the music when racing. Prefer the sound of the engine and if some of the cars in the vids we have seen so far make it into GT5 then thats the music i want to hear.... screaming V8s!!!!

I was driving the Porsche RUF and remarked at just how closely it sounds to a real one.

PD seems to do very well at making cars in GT sound good at low revs.

Who needs  when we can listen to that?

tbh i'm the same but it's nice to have the option...especilly for the replays.

i wonder, will the youtube application record the music being played during our replays (coptright laws etc) or maybe it wont be a problem?

That's a good question about the copyright.

If the game is embedding the music, then there really shouldn't be a problem.

Over-dubbing with unlicenced music might cause problems, but then YouTube should make themselves aware of what music is/is not included in the game before they started deleting things.
