I have noticed that not all the background is appearing, like the mountains in the background on Eiger. In places even the greenary disappears. A bit less on other tracks, mostly the Eigers.
They all appear incar mirrors or when I look behind. Its just the mirror on bumper cam.
Has anybody else noticed?
Or is it a re-install of the disc data coming.

Are you just noticing normal pop-ups and pop-downs, or something else?

Typically, when stuff starts not working right, things like the disc not working right or the install breaking down are probably the cause.
First thing, back up your game progress file off of your hard disk drive, then read through the Help post linked in my sig.

This.
I've tried it now on 2 different PS3s, one pre 4.25. And its the same, tried a brand new disc and again the same. Must be a glitch in the game
. Looks like I'm avoiding bumper cam or turning the mirror off.

If you are just now noticing pop-downs in the rearview mirror, they have always been there.
They use up so many resources that not all objects can be kept in the view. It's not unusual and is to be expected because they don't take precedence over the forward view. The PS3 does have certain graphic restrictions that make this necessary.

Cheers Mastr.
I'm now using in car cam now, as it is less noticable
smaller and more life like.
yes even in the standard cars
and I think all racing games that support cockpit cam from now on.
Maybe I should of stayed playing GT instead of Forza (which |I'm miles off completing but having 360 connection issues to my network when PS3 is fine, another story that is).
