Missing classic cars

Why did the developers insist on putting many types of the same car ( mx5, rx7, civic etc ). I would rather have just one or two of them and have some real classics like the Ford Capri or Escort rs mk1. There are many iconic cars yet instead we get garages full of cars we are never going to use.

Another example is the Renault clio/Lutecia or the Hyundi Tiberium......Yawn

Re: Missing classic cars

As has been said many times before - because GT5 it's primarily a Japanese game. The Japanese fan base shout just as loud as the rest of the world and some of us shouters get what we want from time to time. The imbalance of Japanese cars vs. the rest of the world, whilst not brilliant, is improving from release to release so let's just hope it continues that way. :smileyhappy:

Re: Missing classic cars

There is a big fan base in Japan for classic cars as well. Being a classic Mini fan an owning one, I can say that the Japanese love their classic Mini's and many other classics. Someone like Kaz I would of thought he would of had a lot more iconics classic cars in the game.

Re: Missing classic cars

It would be truly fantastic if we could have classics cars from manufacturers that really made the whole car industry grow into the state we know today.

And ofcourse, the most memorable cars over the years would be just perfect aswell.

They got huge Classic Japanese car collection already, now that could be expanded to cover European and US cars too, to make the manufacturers "even".

Re: Missing classic cars

LOL - if I get too many more cars not only will I forget half of them, which I probably already have, but my PS3 will grind to a halt I'm sure. I currently have 1131 cars and 55 tickets and it takes what seems like an age to load them before I can even start to sort them. I'm already a happy bunny when it comes to the number of cars. I'd gladly swap out a ton of unnecessarily duplicated Japanese cars for some more European and continental cars though. :smileyhappy:

i second that!

if PD and/or Kaz read this then please think about the joke in numbers of cars. i have over 500 japanese standard cars and i havnt seen the premium number but i bet it still dominates any other country. there are sooo many of the same car in this game. just because you slightly changed the name or year you didnt change the car at all it doesnt make it "a different car"

Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V・spec N1 (R34) '99

Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V・spec (R34) '99

Mazda RX-7 Type RS (FD, J) '96

Mazda RX-7 Type RZ (FD, J) '96

these are 2 obvious ones and there are many more. they have the same bhp, pp and speed and handling charecteristics.

saying your japanese and that is why there are soo many is a stupid excuse. im english but i wouldnt fill the game with 500 british variations because it would be boring (hint hint kaz) move with the times. chose cars to put in gt because of how interesting, fun and beautiful, maybe even how funny they are. not because of where they come from.
