I've been thinking of the A Spec event.

Maybe you have your wires a bit crossed too because the special event is only 2nd on the list.

Either way, the final race in the special event, well....I can't remember any issues with it.

Guess I'll run away now.

Na the special events don't unlock all at once.

They are devided into Driver Skill levels needed.

Nasar Advanced is the last Skill level event to unlock, I think ( if there is another i can't remember it ) Before the Redbull at level 30 magicly appears. 

It unlocks at level 21 so you can get your free Nascar Prize for the  A & B-spec level 21 Extreme Nascar championship events.

Thanks for clearing this up. How on earth did you manage to keep behind the pack? Drafting isn't enough because even if I stay in the same exact driving line as the last car in the pack they still get far away in corners?

i don't remember details but maybe you can change car settings? max speed, front&rear ride height  etc... i was SO glad when i got last gold especially after experiencing those very easy golds when i could turn abs off

those kind of modifications aren't possible in the challenge (at least on my ps3)

Yep as posted before All the cheats for Nascar have been disabled buy updates.

Re-raced All Nascar events.

Special and Extreme.

Won All again.

Some races were easier than what I remembered. I think ive got better at holding the throttle for the correct speeds.

Hmm... Seems to be a few confused answers here. This is The Jeff Gordon NASCAR School we're talking about, yes? Not A-spec or B-spec. Pretty sure I got that right. If so then I could also do with some advice. I just can't see HOW this is possible to win when you exit the pits WAAAAY behind the pack!! ... And being a Special Event means no Options... AND I consider myself good at the game if I'm honest so don't go on about how you're supposed to draft.. I know that.

Actualy thats wrong you want to stay in the speed up lane and let some pass you.

Never BRAKE or lift, if you can't go around high, go low. 

If you think a car is going to come down on you go even lower to pass them better than getting booted for contact.
