More cars, yes as long as they are new models and not just more cars we already have that are slightly different.
Bear in mind the "event editor" has not been officially included as going to be in DLC. It may or may not be. so yeah I agree with you that it WOULD be a great edition if it was ever released. It has not been confirmed as going into GT5.
