i think its been said before but isnt the license to the V8 supercars held by microsoft atm? or at least forza? i dont know how far this extends and whether that covers all holdens and fords and the tracks from the championship?
i think you will find its not as easy as just putting the cars and tracks in, money has to be paid agreements need to be made.

I honestly don't understand the passion involved with Holden / Ford die hards and the Bathurst race.

I've been driving for over 20 yrs and in that time I owned a Holden for about 8 months and got rid of it and never owned a Ford.

Subaru, BMW, VW, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Honda, Mercedes, etc all have been parked at different times in my garage.

When I scroll through the cars list I look at all makes and models but I must be honest when I did stumble across  Holden I was surprised as I didn't feel it would be on this game.

This is an international, GLOBAL game and these 2 makes are really not on the same playing field as the other car makers.

This is purely my opinion and I don't miss or crave these cars to enjoy the game or make it better.

That's my 2 cents and that's all for now.

there are plenty of American cars in the game that don't steer properly.. just play on in car view and pretend its a holden

they should offer something like a V8 Supercars Pack DLC with at least 6 V8 Supercar team cars, 2 roadcar models from Ford/FPV and 2 roadcar models from Holden/HSV.

oh btw could someone tell me the second fpv model, I only know of the V8supercar (2002 car i think it is)

Sorry Hitman but just the one Aussie Ford.

The 3 Aussie cars in the game are the Falcon XR8 supercar '00, Commodore S S '04, and CV8 Monaro '04.

Although holden/HSV is only sells theirs cars to Aus/NZ They export their cars and are re-badged as Pontiac or Vaxhall. This makes Holden a Global company.

As for Ford it is a totally different story. Their cars are crap and nobody wants them.
