Obsession Confessions: The Cars of the Gran Turismo Series

Whilst we wait for Gran Turismo 5, we're counting down the days with a healthy dose of nostalgia mixed with some GT5: Prologue.

For the nostalgia, there's been much talk of favourite cars in the SCEE offices. Yaster favours the ever nippy Honda Civic Type-R, LordRoss is a classic fan and Muster? Well, Muster is a sucker for a Viper...

So what about you? We want you to tell us your number one favourite car which has featured in one of the Gran Turismo games. Tell us which one you love, why you love it and (if you can find one) grab a picture to slap into your post. This time next week, we'll be creating a top-ten from all of your submissions and sticking it for all to see in an article on PlayStation.com.

I always loved racing the RUF's (Modified Porsches) in the Gran Turismo series.

Can't wait for this game to come out and get started in the Sunday Cup

Chapparal 2D, a proper race car, from when men were men and all that !

 When every corner could be your last, and death was accepted as being just part of the sport, although by the time this car arrived things were changing for the better.

The guy's that drove these things, and those before them were legends, when  you read Sir Stirling Moss's account of the Mille Miglia it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, but they thought nothing of it, yes, times have certainly changed.......

its been years since i played any gran turismo game but one car i remember was always the FTO lm race edition

Playstation Pescarolo C60.This was ALWAYS the car we chose when having competitions with friends doing time trials.I haven't checked what mileage is on it but I'm guessing it's quite high!

One of mine is the Skyline Pace Car from GT4

And my other one is the Ford RS200
