Online: Replay update BUG!!

Hey

Just noticed that you can now change the view when watching replays from online races, this is a really good feature because I like to watch back & learn from my driving and also other peoples so thanks a lot. But there seems to be a problem I have watched two replays so far and the replays are really lagging and makes it hard to watch the car looks like it's getting crashed into from all direction and I don't think it's the lobbies connection because it seemed fine so I'm not sure but great feature just needs fixing thanks.

Re: Online: Replay update BUG!!

The replays of online racing rarely look as smooth as the actual gameplay itself. This is probably because the bulk of the PS3s processing power is being used for gameplay rather than updating/saving the replay file. It can only do so much at a time.

An alternative could be to find a driver you know to be good, and ask them to hotlap a track offline in practice mode. They could save the replay and send it to you, which should be of higher quality than an online replay.

Re: Online: Replay update BUG!!

Ok thanks i thought maybe it was a bug as it seems alot worst than it used to be! & is it possible to send replays through GT5 now ? or do you mean by email or something ? :King:

Re: Online: Replay update BUG!!

You can export replay files to XMB, and you can send the file from there to someone else however you like. They can then import the replay file back into GT5. You might be able to set replays to 'online' from within GT5 too... I don't know because I haven't tried.
