This is obviously the shortest variation of Nordschiefe right? Can't watch video I am afraid. I only say because once again the real thing showed how far off GT5 is from how quick cars can actually get around the trak :smileyvery-happy:

How far off is GT then?I thought when tests have been carried out before GT has been proven to be very accurate regarding lap times?

Everybody knows the Zonda R is nowhere near as fast as a race car around a track like this because it is massively inferior in the cornering, race cars were putting in times of 8:35 at very best over the weekend across the full 24 hour layout.

The Zonda R would blitz those cars on the straight, but for cornering... it would get destroyed by the SP9-GT class. They were managing the Nordschiefe section in the 6:15 region, yet you saw them there against a mclaren F1 racing car and as soon as the Nordschliefe started those SP9-GTs were gone... like.... really gone. The McLaren (not sure what class it was, maybe a slower SP9? Or an SP8?) was just seen being left behind as if it was standing still.

A Zonda R would never, ever be able to keep up. It's fastest official time is 6:47... that is getting close to half a minute behind these SP9 GT cars that raced there over the weekend just gone. Over a whole race, it would be several whole laps behind provided neither cars were in pits for trouble.

I think it is a really good effort from the OP, it is a fantastic time by my standards... but GT5 is not very accurate. It allows cars to go alot quicker than their real life official times, I think the problem is cars do not slide enough at high speed corners. Top Speed, Acceleration etc is probably really accurate, traction physics however leave a bit to be desired.

It's not too shody though. I found this the other day :smileyhappy:

How I wish the GT version sounded like that.
