Hi everyone,

First of all, there is already a post like this. However, it wasn't written properly to say "WHY?" do we need it? So please don't take this in the wrong way and please give your thoughts about this old feature which were implemented from the previous series.

Everyday, most of us work, study and tried our best to give our PS3 a break from stress and hard drive tears. However, there are endless times that we need to pause our games and hit the SAVE icon just to cook our food, pick our children from schools, clean the house. Therefore, we don't want to leave our console running like a SLAVE and let it crunch all of our electricity bills do we?

On the other hands, a lot of students / gamers needs to have a break from driving ( - playing for long hours) and for crying out loud... This is only a GAME! I know that it needs to be realistic. However, does anybody care about their health when playing for LONG HOURS? Please think about this and we all have other things in - between....

I would like PD to bring this feature back... It would be nice to come back, race and enjoy GT when when we are done with our duties. We can't just leave it running and tearing the machine can we?

Totally agree with you there fella. A lot of games have a warning about playing for a long time, take a break every hour etc. Not so with GT, can't wait for my eyes to turn square, my Dad said that would happen when I was young, Well sat in front of me telly for 24hrs will surely do it, when I pluck up the courage to actually start one of them bad boy Endurance's. Just sticking to 4hr max at the minute till this save feature is implemented

Most of us have a life outside of gaming. Also there is a health risk when stuck in front of the TV for too long.  Please put saves in the game PD. How about putting a save option on all pits stops. This feature was in the 24hr Le Mans game a few years ago.

Well, I heard that it was implemented in GT4. It was one of the strongest feature for GT. As for the "Health Risk", PD should think about this... seriously... they need to bring this Save Feature back!

I think if they were to do this, then it would only to be for you to turn your PS3 off. Not so you could go and do other things on the game. Say if you saved during an endurance race, you couldn't do anything else in your GT Life mode, like start another race, go into dealerships, practices, tune cars, absolutely anything till you finished the race.

Anything less would ruin the challenge of Endurance races.

I don't have much problem with them in the current state, I just pause my PS3 and pick up when I have time to continue on with it.

A 24h endurance race is ridiculous though.

Even in the old days of gaming where systems were lacking save features and attracted a more "hardcore" audience it would still have been silly. With gaming being so mainstream and appealing to lots of "normal" people who have lives away from their console, it's a rather antiquaited idea to expect someone to play the game for 6 hours a day (which is also a ridiculous amount of time to spend playing a game, even in several chunks) and still have to leave their machine on for 4 days solid in order to finish the event.

All they need to do is offer up save points every X hours, and make sure the game overwrites the save or erases the save upon restarting so that people can't reload the save if they make an error.

Le Mans game had this at Playstation One, we're at Playstation 3 now and it dissapeared?

i honestly didn't know this feature was in GT4, this is the reason i did none of the endurance events in that game as i could not spend that much time doing one race, this feature would be fantastic and would allow us normal gamers who have a life outside of video games to attempt an event like this.

PD please hear our calls and give us this feature, it would open the game up to alot more of us and enable us to finish what is a fantasticly good fun game.

And i agree with DeathroW22, it should lock out all other features like it does if you are in any race until said event is finished.

You should look up the actual power usage of the PS3 slims, they're surprisingly low, even lower when you convert it into how much it'll cost you.
