Brand new player (well, 2 weeks), hoping to get some B-spec training done via remote-racing.

UK based (GMT+1) , figure I'll be able to host some B-Spec remote races for others on weekends, and wednesday evenings.

Hoping to get some B-Spec skill this weekend so will add the PSN IDs I can see on this page of the thread. If receive friend requests will run some test races this weekend (21-22 May).

Mmmm - is everybody else able to use the Remote Racing via a PC/Laptop ok (not the B-Spec grinder) ? Before the downtime it worked fine for me using Firefox, since the PSN came back up I can access the pages via MyGT5home page at www.gran-turismo.com but after selecting the race I am unable to pick any other drivers for the race. The selection box remains blank no matter how long I leave it open.....

I can therefore only do races when I am at home in front of the PS3 now

Thanks to all who raced my bobs over the weekend. My first weekend of b-spec remote racing and it was a good experience!

Hosted as many races as I was able, plenty of people hosted in return for me, and plan to continue when I can - damn this "having a job" business

hey clumsybiker, try the yahoo wdiget b-spec grinder if you have access to a PC. set up you PS3, put gt5 in standby mode and let the widget do the rest.

I'm also looking for some more friends. My current friends aren't active enough to my liking, so add me if you are frequently running races. The levels of my drivers range between 18-21, so that's not very high yet
