Re: Questions and Answers

Phone up the police (999 or 991) report you've got a stolen car!

"is this my connection causing that ?? If so how could I improve that ?"

It's theres, I've been playing on a 10mb line and 99% it's fine, you get a couple of drivers who must have a slow connection and what you said occurs. Really annoying, you can't overtake, Soon as you do get shunted out of the way and spin.

Re: Questions and Answers

LAP TIME COLOURS IN ARCADE MODE

Does anyone know the rules governing the designation of a YELLOW lap time in arcade mode? I understand a WHITE time is a fully 'clean' lap, and a RED time will not be recorded as a fastest lap due to heavy collision or corner cutting.

However, a YELLOW fastest lap will be recorded.

I am taking part in an internal fastest lap tournament within our clan and this subject has just come up, in all honesty I've not really noticed that some times are white and others are yellow.

We need to know the reasons behind yellow times so we can decide if they are actaully eligible for qualification.

Thanks

When will we see an Update to this Game, so we can finally use the Logitech G25 / G27 in Gran Turismo 5?
Let's be clear on this matter.

We need to have the G27 Supported in so far as we can, not only reassign Button Mapping (Horn and Wipers at.el.),
But, more IMPORTANTLY to address problems with the H-Shifter (i.e. Second Gear?).

AND EVEN OF MORE IMPORTANCE TO ME
The ability to set "Dead Zones" in my Wheel (To cut the chatter on ~long fast straights~)
The ability to set the "Dead Zones" in the breaks.
Why is it that if I just tap the Breaks the Game registers a 100% depress (i.e. The Wheels lock-up and I go flying off the Track?)

AND THE BIGGEST QUESTION OF ALL?!
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THESE PROBLEMS TO GET FIXED?

if the wheels lock up, you've never turned ABS on, and if it flies off the track, you must be driving a DeLorean from Back to the Future

Re: Questions and Answers

Is it possile to damage your b spec driver? I have my two best drivers and they have lost energy. When you try and choose your drivers for a race you can clearly see my first two have some energy greyed out, meaning they cannot use all their energy.

I wonder if this is the time you sack a driver?

Cheers

I noticed your thread earlier and didn't respond because frankly I don't have a decent answer.

From what I've read in the forum I take it your drivers are around level 28ish.

How many races have they done?

How full is their career bar?

I only ask because reaching the end of their careers is the only thing I can think of.

But without going through that stage myself yet, it's nothing more than a guess.

Re: Questions and Answers

[ Edited ]

Thanks for replying.

My best B driver has had around 700 races but not near full career. The other guy has had around 400 races. I remember letting them race with no energy left for a long time and wonder if this damaged them.

Anyway, would be great for us all to know. Maybe we need to mother our drivers more? Would be cool if we do

Re: Questions and Answers

Coincidently,I just posted regarding resting drivers, and tbh I'm not convinced.

With 700 races under his belt perhaps his career is coming to a close.

My best driver has just done his 300th, so again I'm only guessing about your problem.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.

Re: Questions and Answers

That's ok. We are all learning.

One more thing I have learned is during an endurence race I chose four drivers but only raced two of them. The other two had never been in a race and both on zero. Well, only the two drivers i raced got points. The other two got nothing.

Just thought it interesting
