No you cannot. No option anywhere on GT5 or on GT5 Online (PC) to delete anything from the log.

Why does the 24 LeMans not have a save and continue in the pits, why do I need to leave my PS3 burning up while I go eat, sleep and have things that need getting done in my daily life without having to sit for 24hrs none stop to finish a race, both A-Spec & B-Spec should have a pit stop save & continue option.

Why after I run a car around the track and switch cars then go back to that car later does it have more HP than when I last used it, this happened several times, Yesterday when I bought a new car and added parts to it but realized it was 512 HP and I needed it at 502 HP without having to remove parts I ran it around the Nur track for several hours to burn up the oil and lower the HP, it dropped a bit but then after switching cars for another race I came back to it later that same day while still online in a lobby and the car had 514 HP which is even more than after the start of racing it brand new, The car was a Mit. Evo Lancer 05 I believe.

Why is there so many versions of the same cars and not great classic cars like 55 or 57 Chevy Belair or Ford Fairlane, Thunderbird etc, and lack of dashes for a lot of the really nice cars.

Why is there a level cap on how much money you can earn, Bill Gates, Oprah and all other rich people must really hate that idea, I know I do especially in a video game.

Why isn’t there name brand car parts with variety to choose from, especially tire brands.

Why is there no graphics car editor to custom paint cars and a nice garage area to store cars and pictures, trophies etc. like in GT4.

Why isn’t there a printer option to print car lists of what we’ve collected to keep track.

Why can’t I logon to these forums using my PS3, Why do I need to use my PC?

Why does it take 5 minutes to logon to these forums.

I see you've taken the Questions and Answers thread title literally! lol

I agree with you that paint and a trophy room might have lightened the dull and clinical feel to the game giving it a more personal touch. The game itself in my opinion doesn't make you feel like your involved in a motor racing life or career. I know it's a sim ( although many including myself think it's failed to be one) and in a whole different direction to other games in it's genre like Need For Speedhift but while playing, SHIFT never let you forget you were in a career with your agent watching your progress etc. If they had added little touches here and there like the one you mentioned GT5 wouldn't just feel like a list of cars,tracks and races from easy to hard.

I got the Platinum trophy for shift which wasn't as easy as i thought it would be and as a huge GT fan expected gt5 to blow it away and make it feel like an atari game or something. Apart from much better audio and visual graphics and the beautiful premium cars gt5 is better in reputation and popularity only.

I'm surprised in this modern crazy world how Sony/PD didn't drown in health and safety regulations with the endurance races mode. Sure like other games it's a choice issue whether you want to complete the mode or not but unlike other games to complete the race you must play the full 24hrs. Guys have said they pressed pause for a few hours to eat, rest etc but the ps3 is still burning away which i thought the H+S nutters would have been all over it with headlines like " Sony game encourages kids to go without food and water " kind of thing! lol

I wish there was a save option but as theres not i will be unable to complete it as i work and anyway after 18hours i think i would start hating the game, get bored until the hallucinations started!! LMAO

What???

There isn't exactly anyone forcing you to do these things.

If you want to use 'your better judgement', well hey, don't do it.

Health and safety regs. is pushing it a bit too far, and sadly it's this sort of idealism that has pushed the world to where it is today with this sort of rubbish.

This is a recreational activity, that you can choose to spend time on, or not.

It isn't a work place where companies are liable for pushing employees to hard.

People do many things in their spare personal time that, believe me, well and truely break standard OH&S protocol, so I find this arguement totally without justification.

Welll I agree with you this version of GT feels more clinical but it's also closer to earlier versions of the game where as GT4 was starting to break that tradition, Hopefully they bring back the features of GT4 and mix it into the next PS3 GT6 version, but I suspect if Kazunori Yamauchi really wanted to he could still revamp GT5's menu with an update and bring it earlier.

As for the 24hr LeMans racing, I did it in B-Spec already and have achieved lvl 40 cap for experience which I think is not good either as I have 6 drivers all 36-37 in levels but now find it really tough to get them to level 40 for the trophy since even a level 40 24hr. LeMans race gives them little exp., it wasn't that hard to since I used 2 PSP3. while one was racing B-Spec I played my other account A-Spec, and now that I'm presented with 2 last 24hr LeMans races to finish A-Spec one of which is at lvl 35 and the other at lvl40 knowing how many races it took in B-Spec just to get to do the lvl40 24 LeMans would require about 1 week of 24hr racing in real time and then another day to complete the lvl 40 race, so even if your an addict like me of GT, it's still really almost impossible to do this without killing your PS3 before you finish all the racing it would take to complete these races, not to mention but I will is the off chance you complete a 24 race and then have your system crash at the end of the race before the save kicks in which I've had happen on shorter races even, and it happened to me on a couple of 4 and 9hr B-Spec races as well which was a nasty time waste, so before anyone says it's totally up to you to decided to complete a A-Spec 24hr LeMans race let alone get to the lvl 40 event, I'll ask does anyone know anyone else who has actually done it, I would guess not and so Kazunori Yamauchi really needs to add a save and continue option in the pit stop for A-Spec in an update ASAP so I and many others can actually complete this game, otherwise we should all all sue Kazunori Yamauchi for trying to kill us the hard way. lol

Anyway enough rambling, I just hope my lounge lobby race I'm promoting tonight goes well as I'm running a 200 lap or 24hr last man standing event, providing servers don't kick or crash us it should be fun trying it on the Nur track using 502 hp or less cars averaging 8-10 min. laps and all real weather, time and car damage turned on.

I forgot to mention one other Why question yesterday as well, Why is our lounge lobby not allowing us to use tracks we've created with the track editor, I can only race against AI and it would be nice to use them with friends since they can download my creations as well, I understand why they don't work in general online lobby but they should be able to be run in personal lounge online.

My post regarding what I highlighted from your earlier effort was a totally justified opinion, and re-reading it has by no means made me see that you intended to suggest anything different from my first interpretation.

If you don't agree, fair enough, but there is no reason to denegrate people with references to 'needing help from their mother' and 'throwing tantrums', as though you are somehow superior and more mature.

There will be times when people disagree. And also times when what you intended to say hasn't really come through in the text you type. Simple as that.

I've heard tell of a upcoming patch anyone know what it contains?

Some rumours I've seen suggest it is to allow you do B-Spec from any location.  Please tell me that Polyphony intend to correct some of the titanic frack ups and not gift us with another useless feature for a largely useless part of the game like B-Spec*.

* - Ok I know some folks like it and completists will just have to do it, but for me the longer races, the limited commands and lack of strategy, damage or career path make B-Spec dull and without merit.
