Re: SFS

This week you will need an Audi TT road car with NO TUNING. Oil changes are allowed (see previous page for full regs).  If you're not on Pudds' friend list then send me a friend request (jutngo) and you can then join the private lobby when I'm in.

SFS is an event for clean racing only. All experience levels are very welcome and it's a great chance to race with quick drivers and get tips etc but dirty or reckless drivers will be asked to leave.

Hope some of you can make it this week, always good to see new names joining in.

Re: SFS

I've just been practicing and at first I struggled to get under 1:50 in my newly aquired TTS '09 (downtuned to 256 bhp). I eventualy managed to get just under 1:47, but it was hard work and I found it difficult to put consistent laps in. The harder I tried the worse I got, which is kind of normal I suppose. Best to stay cool. In a race situation I bet it will be even harder, trying not to prang fellow competitors or cause accidents.

It will be interesting to see how peeps take the first two corners. Some serious speed can be carried through those corners providing you can nail em. Misjudge and you end up in the wall nose first...

I am looking forward to it :smileywink:

We run with all aids off except ABS and for those that wish to use it.. the driving line.

Does mean there is no TCS which can be a little tricky with the higher power cars and pad users, but we try to match a tyre choice that at least does not make it silly :smileywink:
